Concept bahatstvo (wealth) in the Ukrainian language paroemic space

The article is devoted to elucidating the specifics of verbalisation concept BAHATSVO in proverbs and sayings based on Ivan Franko’s “Galician-Ruthenian folk tales” basis linguo-cognitive approach. Using method dictionary definitions, author describes semantic structure word-name BAHATSVO, which contains both uniform polytypic representing different lexico-semantic variants word. noun “bahatstvo” (wealth) its derivatives analysed material lexicographic sources covering functioning Ukrainian language 11th - early 21st centuries. At next stage, uses a frame analysis theory cognitive metaphor, according metaphorisation, there process interaction two knowledge structures (frames scenarios) conceptual domains – source domain target domain.
